Live Action: NYBC "Date Those Who Donate"

As Head of Integrated Production at PLURAL*, Julio co-produced the “Date Those Who Donate” campaign, the debut brand platform expression for New York Blood Center Enterprises. In a strategic partnership between PLURAL* + Hungry Man and directed by Christopher Gruse, Julio and Hungry Man produced the end-to-end live action, aligning creative, resources, and delivery to ensure the campaign’s success across multiple platforms.

The campaign combined purpose with pop culture, tackling millennial and Gen Z dating culture by playfully positioning skipping blood donation as the ultimate red flag. With the rallying cry “Date Those Who Donate,” it engaged a new generation of socially conscious donors. Rolled out across streaming, social, online, and out-of-home, the campaign successfully reframed blood donation as a cultural and personal statement.
